2nd gen ( above ) & 1st gen ( below ) what's the difference ?

well, ipod touch has 2 generations. One is like mine, the second one will be the thinner one. Both of them make no difference. But don't know why my friend likes to show off with his new ipod. Is it because he just got his first gadget or any other reason? Well, who cares whether he has or not..
Why must my friend come to me and ask me this silly question? I think he is too proud to have an ipod touch. Haha. funny
